Hamish Smyth is a New York based graphic designer. In 2014 he co-founded Standards Manual, an independent publishing imprint focusing on the preservation of graphic design history.

From 2010 to 2016 Hamish worked at the New York office of Pentagram Design under partner Michael Bierut on a variety of identity, wayfinding, and publication design projects. In 2015, he became an associate partner.

Hamish holds a Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) degree with Honors from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), Melbourne, Australia.
