I Made This Photograph Because;
I Made This Photograph Because; is the visual component of my research thesis in communication design honours.
It is a 184 page publication documenting my photography from October 2008 - October 2009. Every image was shot on film using a range of cameras.
188 of my favourite images are complemented with insight into the process behind creating them, as well as the thought process behind selected photographs.
The publication supports my written thesis focusing on subjectivity in street photography. Below is a video showing the entire book, as well as photographs of selected spreads.
Thanks so much to my friends Adelaide Daniel for help with the concept,Peter Ryle for lending me his camera, knowledge of photography and heaps more. Also thanks to Liam Gilmour for letting me use his camera to film the book. Sorry for all the photos but it was a long book and I couldn't decide what to show!
